Need help with SHRD? Start with the questions below — if you can't find an answer, the developer reads every message sent through the in-app feedback or to the contact email.

How SHRD works

  1. Sign in with your phone number — you'll get an SMS code to verify.
  2. Pick a destination on the map and tap Start looking.
  3. Your origin and destination become visible to other SHRD users nearby (within 1 km) for 15 minutes.
  4. When someone heading the same way appears, send a connection request.
  5. If they accept, you can chat to coordinate the pickup. The app calculates a fair fare split based on the route.
  6. After the ride, rate each other to help the community.

Frequently asked questions

I'm not seeing any nearby riders

The matching radius is 1 km and only users who have actively started looking within the last 15 minutes appear. If you're in a low-density area or it's off-peak, the list will be empty. The feature works best in cities with active users.

My SMS code never arrived

Check your signal and confirm the country code matches your phone number. If you still don't receive it after 60 seconds, tap Resend. Carrier delays of 1–2 minutes are normal in some regions.

Why does SHRD need my location?

Location is the core of the matching feature — we can't suggest nearby riders without knowing where you are. Location is only collected while you actively have Start looking enabled, and auto-expires after 15 minutes of inactivity. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How is the cost split calculated?

SHRD estimates the route distance and applies a base fare plus a per-kilometer rate. The total is divided between riders based on where each person is dropped off. The app shows a recommended split — settlement happens between riders, not through SHRD.

Can I block someone?

Yes. After a ride, when rating the other rider, tap Block. Blocked users won't see you in their nearby list and you won't see them. The block is bidirectional and permanent (until you unblock from the same screen).

How do I report inappropriate behavior?

From the rating screen after a ride, tap Report and choose one of the reasons (didn't pay, inappropriate behavior, no show, safety concern, or other). Reports are confidential and reviewed manually.

Report a bug or share feedback

The fastest way to reach the developer is the in-app feedback feature:

  1. Open the SHRD app.
  2. Tap the profile menu (👤 icon in the top right).
  3. Tap ✉️ Send Feedback.
  4. Type your message and tap Send.

Feedback goes directly to the developer's inbox along with your app version, so bugs can be tracked down quickly. If the app won't launch or you can't sign in, email instead:
